Here at the Muhlenberg County 9-1-1 office, the determination and dedication to the job is all made possible by the community in which we serve. We feel, in some cases that the community often hears dispatch on the scanner, but does not actually know what we do on a day to day basis. There is more to the job and life of a 911 dispatcher than just answering the phone and talking on the radio. Below you will see two forms, one being for educators, teachers, community groups, etc. We will use this form for the these citizens to request dispatchers to come to their classroom, group or workplace and educate and speak to the students , employees or citizens about the importance of 911, when to call 911, and steps to take in the event of an emergency. The other form is the general public, and educators, etc to request a date and time to tour the facility. We believe that clarity and transparency are the best recipe for success and a great,  positive, long lasting relationship with the citizens in which we serve.

Muhlenberg County 9-1-1 welcomes the opportunity to teach you more about the use of "9-1-1".  We are available to speak at your next:

  • Club Meeting

  • Safety Meeting

  • Classroom

  • Staff Meeting

  • Neighborhood Watch Meeting

  • Etc.
